Several meetings then took place between the middle of March 1961 and the middle of May 1962 before the lodge was consecrated on 23rd May 1962.
These meetings decided all the administrative details including the name of the lodge, the sponsoring lodge (March & Darnley No.1141), the frequency of meetings, the permission of the Provincial Grand Master of Sussex to petition Grand Lodge to form the Lodge, the subscriptions, founding members, principal officers and so on.
