Horsham Freemasons delivered hot meals for the winter months 2020/21

Horsham Freemasons from the Normandy Centre in Denne Road, Horsham began the hot meal deliveries initiative across the Horsham District Area during winter 2020 and early 2021.
The scheme, which was funded by Horsham Freemasons, including Carfax Lodge, and was run in conjunction with the Horsham Matters foodbank, once again saw local freemasons deliver a hot, two course, main meal, cooked by Debra Moore, the Chef/Proprietor of The Café, on a Sunday lunchtime every fortnight to those people who had been locally identified within the Horsham District as vulnerable.

July 2021 saw the presentation of a cheque for £1500 from the Masonic Units (including Carfax Lodge) that meet at the Normandy Centre, Horsham to the local ‘Horsham Matters’ charity.
The Centre’s Units worked with Horsham Matters over the previous 18 months on an initiative to fund and deliver hot meals on a Sunday to the vulnerable within the Horsham District area, and to support the work of their food bank.
Emma Elnaugh, the Managing Director of Horsham Matters, is seen receiving the cheque from the Normandy Centre Chairman W.Bro Pete Hansen.
